Chronic Pain and Opioid Management: Strategies for Integrated Treatment

This 1.5-day workshop includes foundational information about chronic pain, including diagnoses, analgesics, and a review of scientific evidence. The content focuses on cognitive behaviorally based strategies for pain and opioid management. The speaker will review topics such as how to address patient resistance and other relevant clinical considerations. In addition, participants will be provided with therapist and patient materials that can be used immediately to improve clinical encounters. The workshop will be beneficial for licensed mental health professionals such as psychologists, social workers, counselors, and therapists.
